My time at Quantum Optical Devices (QUoD) has opened my eyes to the true versatility of engineering. For me it was a stark departure from my experience in engineering but I have been learning and thriving in this environment.
As I wanted to learn more hands-on skills when it came to electrical systems, MSU Solar Racing was a no-brainer. I am currently a team member of the Solar Energy System and a new member of the Battery Protection System.
This is where it all began. My spark for engineering can be traced to three transformative years I spent at this team. I learned from this program while also leaving my mark through various developments.
As someone who loves all things science and as someone who loves teaching, why not combine them? That’s what I have done while working at a local STEM Summer camp for the past few years. I have taught topics ranging from basic physics all the way to using Unity to create video games.
